TERMS & CONDITIONS

What are the minimum requirements for each Multiroom type?

• RM53 Multiroom: You must maintain your current subscription or a minimum subscription of RM100/month to be eligible for this fee. Multiroom channels will mirror your primary Astro subscription. 
• 50% Multiroom: You must maintain your current subscription, or a minimum subscription of RM80/month to be eligible for this fee. Multiroom channels will mirror your primary Astro subscription. 
• RM37.10 Mini Multiroom: You must maintain your current subscription, or a minimum subscription of RM80/month to be eligible for this fee. Channels on Multiroom are not mirrored from your primary Astro subscription. The Multiroom service must be located at the same registered address as your primary subscription.

What type of decoder can I get with Multiroom?

• By default, your Multiroom comes with a FREE HD decoder installation. You will be subject to a 24-month contract, or a pro-rated penalty of RM500 shall apply. 
• Installation of Multiroom with a Personal Video Recorder (PVR) is RM100. You will be subject to a 24-month contract, or a pro-rated penalty of RM500 shall apply. 
• Installation of Mini Multiroom with a Personal Video Recorder (PVR) is also RM100. You will be subject to a 24-month contract, or a pro-rated penalty of RM500 shall apply. 
• The Multiroom (second decoder) must be installed at the same registered address as your primary subscription. 
• FREE Previews will be activated 30 days upon activation. 
• Shopping vouchers will be fulfilled within 30 days of activation.

Why do I need to connect the PVR to my home Wifi? 

Upon connecting the PVR to a Wifi connection, you will be able to enjoy box sets, TV series and movies On Demand! As such the PVR is only available to customers with a home Wifi connection at the installation addresss.

Is there a contract period for the Personal Video Recorder (PVR)? 

• If you have signed up for a PVR (New customers), you will have to maintain your Astro subscription for 24 months, or a pro-rated penalty of RM500 shall apply. 
• If you have signed up for a PVR (Existing customers), you will have to maintain your Astro subscription for 24 months, or a pro-rated penalty of RM240 shall apply. 
• If you acquired a PVR for FREE or at RM50 (from your Super Pack / Super Pack Plus / monthly subscription of >RM160), you will have to maintain your package subscription for a minimum of 6 months, or a pro-rated penalty fee of RM100 shall apply.

Is there a recording fee attached to the PVR?

• If you are subscribed to an Astro Pack (Family HD, Value Pack, Super Pack or Super Pack Plus), your monthly subscription price is inclusive of the HD-PVR service fee. 
• If you are not subscribed to an Astro Pack, you will be subject to a monthly HD-PVR service fee of RM26.50. 

Does the PVR come with a warranty? 

• The PVR comes with a 12 months warranty from date of activation. 
• To continue enjoying your PVR decoder and service, you must maintain a minimum monthly subscription fee of RM60 (not inclusive of the recording fee).
